Our merchandising team consists of more than 40 people and its organizational structure is fully adjusted to the FRIESLANDCAMPINA sales department and to the current market needs. Our merchandising team covers the retail market in Athens and Thessaloniki by visiting all major super-market chains and having daily routing plans, monitored via GPS.
The team supervisors monitor the daily progress of merchandising activities in stores (shelf stocking, F.I.F.O., O.O.S., faces, making deals and creating extra promotion activities, placing Ρ.Ο.Ρ. material etc.). Such activities demand immediate responses, speed and accuracy, due to the nature of dairy products, the fierce competition in this industry and the multiple product codes that FRIESLANDCAMPINA owns. A category management supervisor monitors the implementation and maintenance of the respective planograms.
Sales Promotion Center uses a cutting-edge, electronic reporting system via tablets, which can gather and present all results in a clear and usable way, while getting real time updates.
